Step 1: Lock in Your Date (Initial Deposit) Secure your requested date and time in your Private Lab Suite! The $125 deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward your final event balance. Your Private STEM Lab is officially booked as soon as this is received!

Step 2: Final Balance (Due 48 Hours Prior) (Note: The balance amounts below already have your initial $125 deposit subtracted from the total).

Please select your final confirmed headcount below so our instructors can prep the tech for your event! Due to our high-level tech curriculum, we have a strict maximum of 10 students per group to ensure every child gets a fully supported, hands-on experience.

Important Terms & Event Policies Please review our event policies prior to finalizing your payment:

  • Payments & Deposits: A $125 non-refundable deposit secures your date. Final balances are due 48 hours prior. All events are 100% cashless on the day of the lab.
  • Cancellations by Customer: All deposits and final payments are non-refundable if you choose to cancel your event. Additionally, because we prep individual hardware and workstations based on your paid headcount, we are unable to offer partial refunds or adjust the final balance for last-minute guest cancellations or no-shows.
  • Cancellations by STEAMwhiz: In the highly unlikely event that STEAMwhiz must cancel your party (e.g., severe weather emergencies, power outages, or facility closures), we will work closely with you to reschedule your event to a new date. If a mutually agreeable reschedule date cannot be found, you will receive a 100% full refund (including your deposit).
  • Digital Waivers: Every participating student must have a digital waiver signed by their own parent/guardian prior to entering the lab. No exceptions. Link to Digital Waiver 
  • Food & Celebrating: Private Group Labs focus exclusively on the STEM workshop and do not include access to a food, drink, or celebration area. (Bottles of water are OK). For events with food and cake, please check out our Birthday Lab Packages!
