Book an exclusive, hands-on engineering experience at the STEAMwhiz Lab for your scout troop, homeschool pod, or group of friends! You and your crew will step into the shoes of real engineers, taking over your own Private Lab Suite to design, build, and problem-solve together using our professional-grade technology.

Led by an expert instructor, every Private Group Lab is a highly interactive, completely tailored adventure designed to keep students engaged and creating from start to finish.

The Premium Experience Includes:

• Dedicated Space & Staff: Your group is assigned a Private Lab Suite as their home base, led by a dedicated STEM instructor who guides them every step of the way through our specialized innovation zones.
• Interactive Engineering Challenges: Depending on your chosen duration, the kids will dive into professional software and hardware to conquer a 3D design challenge, a robotics build, or a collaborative coding project!
• The Real-World Takeaway: Whether they are taking home a warm, custom 3D-printed artifact or walking away with a new digital skill and a programmed game, every student leaves with a real-world engineering accomplishment.

Choose Your Lab Duration

To ensure every student gets personalized attention and enough hands-on time with the tech to be completely successful with their builds, we cap these private events at a strict maximum of 10 students.

Option 1: The Standard 1.5-Hour Workshop (Ages 7+) Our sweet spot for young engineers! This focused 90-minute session keeps students fully engaged and having fun with a dedicated 3D design, robotics, or coding challenge.

• Base Rate: $310 (Covers up to 8 students)
• Additional Students: $35 per extra student (Max 10 total)

Option 2: The Extended 2-Hour Session Looking for a slightly longer event? After 90 minutes of focused engineering design, we shift the kids completely away from their software and jump into a collaborative, hands-on science experiment or a private Minecraft teamwork challenge to keep the energy high and prevent “tech fatigue.”

• Base Rate: $405 (Covers up to 8 students)
• Additional Students: $45 per extra student (Max 10 total)

Because our weekend lab space is in high demand, we book our Private Group Labs via a concierge inquiry process.

How it works:

1. Submit Your Request: Fill out the brief form above with your preferred weekend dates, estimated headcount, and the ages of your group.
2. We Check Availability: Our team will review our facility calendar and get back to you within 24 hours to confirm dates and times.
3. Lock it In: Once we agree on a time block, we will send you a link to submit your deposit to officially secure your Private Lab Suite!

Important Terms & Event Policies

Please review our event policies prior to submitting an inquiry:

• Deposits & Payments: A $125 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and lab suite. All final balances must be paid online exactly 48 hours prior to your event based on your final headcount. All events are a 100% cashless experience on the day of the lab.
• Cancellations by Customer: All deposits and final payments are non-refundable if you choose to cancel your event.
• Cancellations by STEAMwhiz: In the highly unlikely event that STEAMwhiz must cancel your booking (e.g., severe weather emergencies, power outages, or facility closures), we will work closely with you to reschedule your event to a new date. If a mutually agreeable reschedule date cannot be found, you will receive a 100% full refund (including your deposit).
• Digital Waivers: Every participating student must have a digital waiver signed by their own parent/guardian prior to entering the lab. No exceptions.
• Food & Celebrating: Please note that our Private Group Labs focus exclusively on the STEM workshop experience and do not include access to a designated food, drink, or celebration area. If you are looking to host an event with food and cake, please check out our Birthday Lab Packages!
