Give your child a birthday celebration they will talk about all year! At STEAMwhiz, your child and their friends step into the shoes of real engineers. They will take over our state-of-the-art tech lab to design, build, and explore using professional 3D printers and high-performance gaming PCs.

Led from start to finish by our expert STEM educators, every Birthday Lab is an engaging, collaborative adventure where kids do not just play—they make.

The 2.5-Hour Premium Experience

Your group gets exclusive access to our Private Lab Suite for the digital adventure, plus a completely separate, dedicated party room for food and celebration:

• 1. The Design Lab (45 mins): Kids dive into professional CAD software to engineer their own custom 3D creations. Our instructors guide them step-by-step through real 3D modeling fundamentals.

• 2. The Minecraft Mega-Quest (75 mins): While our lab printers bring their 3D designs to life, the crew jumps onto our networked gaming PCs for an epic, collaborative Minecraft adventure built around teamwork and problem-solving.

• 3. The Celebration (30 mins): The party moves to your private celebration room to enjoy food, drinks, and cake with friends and family.

• The Built-In Perks: Every guest takes home their custom 3D-printed project straight off the printer as a one-of-a-kind party favor. Plus, the birthday child receives an exclusive 3D-printed VIP gift from the STEAMwhiz team, and we will email you a digital “Time Capsule” of screenshots capturing the Minecraft world the kids built together.

Pricing & Headcount

To guarantee that every child gets individual technical guidance and that all 3D prints finish on time, our birthday labs are strictly capped at a maximum of 10 students (including the birthday child).

• Base Birthday Lab Package: $425 (Covers up to 8 students)

• Additional Students: $45 per extra student (up to the 10-student maximum)

• Deposit: A $125 non-refundable deposit is required once dates are confirmed to lock in your lab suite.

Food, Drinks & Hassle-Free Cleanup

• Bring Your Favorites: You are welcome to bring pizza, cupcakes, snacks, and favorite drinks. (Please bring a cooler if items need to stay cold, as we do not have public refrigerator space).

• Parent-Led Food Service: Our educators dedicate 100% of their focus to managing the lab technology, print queues, and student builds, so we leave food service and cake cutting to you.

• Zero Cleanup for You: Once the celebration wraps up, pack up your leftover food and gifts—our team handles 100% of the facility cleanup and trash.

How Booking Works

Because our weekend lab slots are limited and run on a private basis, we schedule parties through a simple concierge booking process:

1. Submit Your Inquiry: Fill out the short request form below with your preferred weekend dates, estimated headcount, and the birthday child’s age.

2. Date Confirmation: Our team checks our lab calendar and contacts you within 24 hours to confirm your time slot.

3. Lock In Your Slot: We will send you a private link to submit your $125 deposit and officially reserve your lab suite!

Important Terms & Event Policies

• Deposits & Balance Payments: A $125 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and time. Your remaining balance is calculated based on your final confirmed headcount and must be paid online via our secure payment link exactly 48 hours prior to the party. STEAMwhiz is a 100% cashless facility on the day of the event.

• Cancellations & Headcount Adjustments: All deposits and final payments are non-refundable. Because we configure individual workstations, software accounts, and print queues specifically for your booked group size, we cannot offer partial refunds or balance reductions for late cancellations or day-of no-shows.

• Weather & Facility Rescheduling: If STEAMwhiz must close due to severe weather emergencies, power outages, or facility issues, we will work with you to reschedule your event to an open date. If a mutually agreeable date cannot be found, you will receive a 100% full refund (including your deposit).

• Digital Waivers: Every participating child must have an online waiver signed by their own parent or legal guardian prior to entering the lab.

• Capacity Limit: For safety, equipment availability, and print-time constraints, our 10-student maximum is strictly enforced. Non-participating adults are welcome to hang out in the celebration area.
