STEAMwhiz Academic Year 25-26

Academic Year 2025-2026

Learning, Powered by Community.

Welcome to the new academic year at STEAMwhiz. We’re a community-driven initiative reimagining education to help kids build the creativity, resilience, and collaborative skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven future. To support this mission, we’ve simplified our pricing for all core programs and introduced new ways for our families to save.

Rethinking the Model, Together.

The future requires a new set of skills. As a local STEM hub founded in the Capital District, we complement the great work of school teachers by offering a unique space for a cutting-edge, project-based curriculum and deep, hands-on exploration.

Your participation isn’t a transaction; it’s an investment in a shared vision that enables our specialized staff to provide personalized mentorship. They create an inclusive environment where every child can discover their unique strengths and become a creative problem-solver.

Creativity Over Memorization

We champion creative exploration and true understanding, not just recall.

Collaboration & Humanity

Discovering our shared humanity by solving complex problems together.

Resilience Over Results

Building the fortitude to value the learning process, not just the quick answer.

A Space for Every Mind to Thrive

We believe true innovation comes from diversity of thought. Our classrooms are designed to be intentionally inclusive, recognizing that every child learns differently. By celebrating these unique perspectives, we create a dynamic environment where all students learn to leverage each other’s strengths, building not just empathy, but better, more creative solutions. We use specific strategies that empower every learner:

Multi-Modal Instruction

We use diagrams and symbolic cues to support different learning styles, reducing reliance on purely verbal instructions.

Choice-Based Demonstrations

Students can show what they’ve learned in the way that best suits them—by building, drawing, writing, or presenting.

Strength-Based Team Roles

Students take on roles that play to their natural strengths, like a big-idea generator, master builder, or detail-oriented inspector.

A Curriculum That Grows With Them

This isn’t just a class; it’s a multi-year journey designed to ignite a genuine love for learning. Our curriculum helps students excel in their schoolwork today by strengthening their understanding of science, math, and critical thinking. Simultaneously, we prepare them for the careers of tomorrow by building the skills essential for an AI-driven future: creative problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience.

Beginner Level (Ages 6-8)

The journey begins with building a growth mindset. We focus on foundational logic and reasoning, using tools like symbol-based coding for pre-readers to help students learn how to frame a problem and approach challenges with curiosity.

Intermediate Level (Ages 9-11)

Students apply critical and analytical thinking to solve multi-step problems. They learn to integrate different STEM themes, using math for precision and science to understand the “why” behind their creations.

Advanced Level (Ages 12-14)

The focus shifts to independent innovation. Students tackle open-ended challenges, synthesizing complex layers of technology and data to design and build their own unique solutions from the ground up.

Our Core Programs

These are the pathways we offer to build future-ready skills.

STEM Enrichment (SEP)

Our foundational pathway, designed to develop creative problem-solvers. Students explore quarterly themes across Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through an engaging, hands-on, project-based curriculum.

Robotics Enrichment (REP)

A hands-on journey for our young engineers and builders. Using Lego Robotics, students learn mechanical engineering, coding, and teamwork, preparing them for the exciting world of robotics competitions.

Competitive Robotics (VEX)

An esteemed e-sport for dedicated students (4th-8th grade). This is a high-commitment team environment where high-achievers develop complex solutions and vital career skills through a project-based curriculum under the guidance of expert coaches.

COMING SOON

Artificial Intelligence (AIP)

Our upcoming program designed to equip students for an AI-powered world. The curriculum will focus on learning AI fundamentals, digital literacy, ethics, and the practical application of AI tools. Click below to learn more and join our waitlist!
