STEM Robotics Day @STEAMwhiz will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, for kids aged 7-13 years old.

Ticket Holders

With a ticket, you will be entered to participate in 5 fantastic STEM activity stations for a total of one hour. Each station will be 12 minutes long, and then students will rotate to the next activity station. Each hour will have 5 groups, one group per station, 4 kids per group. Afterwards, ticket holders can enjoy a hot dog, a drink, and create their ice cream sundaes from Stewart’s Shops and should enter their ticket into the raffle for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Price Chopper/Market 32 🥳

Additional Stuff

There will be t-shirts, food, and 3d printed goodies for sale (cash only) 🥳 Additional raffles will include: 1) Pure Elements Salon gift card 2) VR Family Package to Zone 518

Kids 5-6 are welcome to build and play in the kids’ corner under parent supervision for free.

There will also be a bounce house where kids are welcome to play safely under direct parent supervision.

STEM Activity Stations

VeX IQ Robotics Station – Rapid Relay Challenge

You will learn from the pros. Our very own Magnificent Mangos team, which has qualified for the World Championship May 12- 14th, will teach you the ropes and have you compete in this intense competition. We strongly suggest that you learn how to play Rapid Relay before STEM Day 🥳. The high score of the day wins a prize! If you want to help Mangos even more, visit their GoFundMe page.

VR Laser Tag Station

Jump into the world of mixed reality. Have a blast with your 4 companions and play laser tag, hide behind virtual obstacles, and knock out all the drones. If you have never used a Meta Quest 3, I suggest watching this video to learn how to use the controllers before STEM Day.
